THE MOUNTAIN OFFERS
The mountain offers
what the mountain offers
but you have to go up it
to see,
the old monk told
his students.

EVENTUALLY
Eventually you
fall into your own
emptiness,
the old monk said.
~
WHEN DEATH
When death finally takes you,
you won't know it,
the old monk acknowledged.
