THREE OLD MONK POEMS (373)
ONE LIKES IT ALL
One likes it all in one pot
and the other wants to cook them separately --
they can't work the same kitchen,
the old monk said.
~
EVEN AS
Even as the biscuit
is baking
she wants to be
cleaning the oven,
the unfortunate soul,
the old monk said.
~
WHO STIRS
Who stirs the pot
remains calm --
which explains
the universe,
the old monk said.
