What is pleasure
but the flush of what
flushes us,
the old monk said.

ABOUT ENOUGH
About enough
is always what
you want to
offer,
the old monk said,
or slightly more.

NOT TOO MANY
Not too many
is about enough
except for grapes
and glasses of wine,
the old monk said.
