STAND HERE
Stand here and wait
long enough, you will
know what life's like
on the mountain,
the old monk said

IF ONLY WE COULD
If only we could make
people talk poetry,
the old monk exclaimed.
~
YOU DO IT
You do it with your ear,
not on your fingers,
if you do it at all,
the old monk told
the poet.
~
