THEY COME BECAUSE
They come because
they want to,
all those sounding
in the darkness,
the old monk says.

YOU CAN KNOW
You can know
only so much
before the stars
give out,
the old monk says.

THE MOUNTAIN
The mountain
touches the sky
at the moment
the sky
touches the mountain,
the old monk said.
That's how love is.
