NEW YEAR'S EVE RESOLUTION
A hard storm
at year's end
laid snow on
the shame of
who we are,
left a new
surface for
us here on
out. Let us
make tracks towards
tomorrow's
sun, into
a better
day where past
shadows stay
behind us
and we can
be better
than we've been.
